Each year the Freedom Festival partners with the Provo City Veterans Council to remember and honor those lost while bravely serving our nation in the Armed Forces. We welcome you to join us this Monday, May 27th, at 10am for our annual Memorial Day ceremony at Provo City Cemetery. (In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Covey Center for the Arts in downtown Provo.) Former Utah County Commissioner Doug Witney will be the keynote speaker. One of our Speech Contest winners, Rebecca Reynoso, will also leave a few remarks. Songs from Hope of America will be performed by local elementary school students. Guests will also enjoy a 21-gun salute, plus a special welcome by Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi. Thank you to all who serve our great nation in the Armed Forces, and also to the family members of those who serve!
