Mission
America's Freedom Foundation is a nonprofit foundation organized for four main purposes: to celebrate, educate, honor, and strengthen. The Foundation's events celebrate our freedoms and the 4th of July, educate the rising generation to appreciate and preserve these freedoms, honor those who have distinguished themselves in the cause of liberty nationally and internationally, and strengthen America's freedom-enabling institutions.
Celebrate The Foundation produces annually America's Freedom Festival at Provo, a series of approximately 25 events. The Stadium of Fire (celebrating its 25th anniversary this year), Grand Parade, Children's Parade, Festival Days (three days of food, entertainment, crafts, and carnival rides), golf and softball tournaments, Baby Contest, Carillon Concert, and the Freedom Run (10K and 5K run) admirably accomplish the goal of celebration.
Educate The Hope of America Student Showcase, Essay Contest, Speech Contest, Patriotic Service, Flag Retirement Ceremony, Historic Provo Tours and Reception, and Fine Art Exhibit contribute greatly to educating all participants and spectators in the history, freedom, and joys of living in America.
Honor Each year the Freedom Awards Gala honors individuals who have gone to extraordinary lengths to establish and preserve freedom in this country and abroad, and brings them to Provo so that we can all learn from their great examples and be uplifted by their heroism. Strengthen To the long-standing traditions of celebrating, educating and honoring, America's Freedom Foundation has expanded its mission to include a new fourth, strengthening America's engine of freedom, free enterprise. To this end, we're pleased to announce the formation of America's Free Enterprise Alliance, an emerging volunteer alliance of business, government and educational leaders dedicated to inspiring greatness in America's freedom-enabling institutions. The inaugural national event of the Free Enterprise Alliance is planned for Fall 2009.
