Ellis Island in the Park

Get ready for an experience that will rock your world, thrill your heart and give you hope for the future of America!

Imagine becoming an immigrant at Ellis Island, being guided through ten milestones of freedom in a field of flags, and determining your willingness to accept all of the citizenship commitments needed to become a True American! Imagine passing a ten-question citizenship test and then being led on stage to take the oath of citizenship in front of your friends and family! Imagine having your passport to citizenship signed by you and notarized by Ellis Island Officials as evidence of your commitment to America! This is the experience you will have at Ellis Island in the Park!

July 3, 4, and 5 SCERA Park will be transformed into Ellis Island with stage, flags, cast members, booths, food and more. Bring your whole family and let them experience what it means to be a True American. Prepare your family by going on-line at
Roots of Freedom and begin using free in-home curriculum to teach your family important lessons about America.
