Freedom Days showcases some of the region's finest hand-crafted artwork, fun hands-on activities, local entertainment, and unique foods. There is something for everyone including handcrafted jewelry, paintings, quilts, and more.
Make sure and visit our free Freedom Village on the Tabernacle grounds. Activities include face painting, two jump houses, Scales and Trails reptile exhibit, hair braiding, a rock wall, sand pit, and a "make-and-take" area!
You are also invited to join in the Freedom Days Celebration Car Show on Saturday July 5. Entry forms will be available the morning of the show. All classes of vehicles are welcome.
This year's activities will also feature our first annual Red, White, and Blue Bar-B-Q Blaze on Thursday July 3 and Friday July 4. A competitive cook off that has already attracted entrants from around the country, this should provide you with a bird's-eye view of how the real pros do their thing. Come rub shoulders with the gurus of special sauces, woods and "rubs," and maybe you will want to compete next year too!
