Junior Golf Classic

On Monday June 30th, junior golfers from around the valley will converge on Cascade Golf Center in Orem for the 11th annual Junior Golf Classic. The tournament will feature boys and girls competing in a variety of flights. The goal is to provide junior golfers the opportunity to participate in an enjoyable, well organized event. Junior golfers will be divided into two divisions with flights in each division for both boys and girls.

Division One:	Boys flights	14 years of age
		15 years of age
		16 years of age
		17 years of age

	Girls flights	14 & 15 year olds
		16 & 17 year olds

	18 Holes of golf
	Valley and Mountain course
	7am Check In
	7:30am Shotgun start
	$20.00 entry fee

Division Two:	Boys flights	9 years of age
		10 years of age
		11 years of age
		12 years of age
		13 years of age

	Girls flights	10 & 11 year olds
		12 & 13 year olds

	9 Holes of golf
	9am Check In
	10am Shotgun start
	$10.00 entry fee

A lunch will begin at 12:30 for all players. There will also be a putting tournament. It will consist of 9 holes and will be held during the lunch. At the conclusion of lunch and the putting tournament awards will be given to the winners in each age group. There will also be contests with prizes to be given away. “We feel it is important that all who participate in the tournament go away having had a positive experience,” comments Cascade Golf Center.

Volunteer scorekeepers are needed for the division two golfers. If you are able to help please let the golf course know at the time of signing up your jr. golfer. Entries for the tournament will be handled on a first come basis. We will take 60 golfers in each division. All entries should be made through Cascade Golf Center at 1313 East 800 North, Orem, or by phone at 225-6677.

Reflecting on the success of the past and the excitement for the future, event co-chairs Keven Stratton and PGA Golf Professional Randy Anderson say this years events will once again be better than ever.
