Golf Extravaganza
12th Annual Junior Golf Classic (for ages 9 to 17)
Monday June 28th. Junior golfers will be divided into two divisions with flights in each division for both boys and girls.
Division One: Boys flights (14 yrs of age, 15 yrs of age, 16 yrs of age, and 17 yrs of age). Girls flights (14 & 15 yrs of age, and 16 & 17 yrs of age). 18 holes of golf will be played on the Valley and Mountain course. 7:00am Check In. 7:30am Shotgun start. $20.00 entry fee.
Division Two: Boys flights (9 yrs of age, 10 yrs of age, 11 yrs of age, 12 yrs of age, and 13 yrs of age). Girls flights (10 & 11 yrs of age, and 12 & 13 yrs of age). 9 Holes of golf. 9:00am Check In. 10:00am Shotgun start. $10.00 entry fee.
Lunch will begin at 12:30pm for all players. There will also be a putting tournament. It will consist of 9 holes and will be held during the lunch. At the conclusion of lunch and the putting tournament awards will be given to the winners in each age group. There will also be contests with prizes to be given away.
Volunteer scorekeepers are needed for the division two golfers. If you are able to help please let the golf course know at the time of signing up your junior golfer.
Entries will be handled on a first come basis. We will take 60 golfers in each division. All entries should be made through Cascade Golf Center in person or by phone at (801) 225-6677.
Family Miniature Golf & Barbecue
Monday June 28th, 5:00pm to 9:00pm. This event is designed to allow families time to be together and enjoy some miniature golf and food. A fee of $35 for a family of up to six members will be charged. A prorated fee will be available for larger and smaller families. Advanced reservations are required. Nite Golf and Dinner
Four person scramble June 30th and July 1st. Nine holes of golf are played in the daylight followed by an awesome steak dinner and then nine more holes of golf in the dark with a glow in the dark ball. Entry fee of $48 per person includes 18 holes of golf, riding cart for the daylight mountain nine, steak dinner, and Nite-Lite golf supplies. Reservations are required through Cascade Golf Center at (801) 225-6677. This event fills up quickly!
