Children’s Art Show

The Freedom Festival Children’s Art Show is a juried art show and exhibit for children ages 5 to 14. One original piece of art on any subject may be submitted in the medium of oil, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, drawings, or mixed media. The artwork must be framed and wired for hanging (eye screws & wire), and no larger than 20×24 inches.

SUBMISSION

Artwork will be received on Saturday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Utah County Health and Justice Bldg.

Artwork can be on any subject. Awards and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and Honorable Mention in each category of (5-6 yrs.), (7-8 yrs), (9-10 yrs.), (11-12 yrs.) and (13-14 yrs). A special award will be given for the best piece with a Patriotic Theme.

RECEPTION & AWARDS CEREMONY

A special reception will be held Monday, July 5 from 6-9 p.m. Awards program for ages 5 to 8 will begin at 7 pm, ages 9 to 14 begins at 8 p.m. and will include special guest performances, refreshments, gifts and certificates for all entrants.

EXHIBIT

Artwork chosen for the show will hang in the Utah County Health and Justice Bldg June 28 – July 31, and may be viewed Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. For more information and to download entry forms, please click here: UCAB 2010 Kid’s Entry Form
